Lincoln Barr: Trembling Frames

Pre-order now at

December 2018 update: I was very honored to be a guest on the Nakedly Examined Music podcast recently. We discuss “Desperate Tormentors” and “How to Escape” from Trembling Frames, along with a couple of older Red Jacket Mine tracks. Listen on your favorite podcast app, or stream it below!

I recently wrote and recorded an original soundtrack for filmmaker Steve E. Turner's feature-length documentary, The Past is Never Dead, which tells the story of the wrongful conviction of David Lee Robinson and his 17-year struggle to prove his innocence. I'm happy to report that David is now a free man!

The soundtrack features many of the same musicians as Trembling Frames, including John Convertino, Levon Henry, Johnny Sangster, and many more. I'm incredibly proud of the music and honored to be involved in this project. The film is expected to hit festivals in 2019. More clips and information at

My debut solo album, Trembling Frames, is available everywhere, including here.
